♦ Description : “Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt. Her family emigrated to the Netherlands in 1933. In Amsterdam, she had a happy childhood until 1942, despite the war. On July 6, 1942, the Franks sneaked into the “Annex” of the 263 Prinsengracht building. On August 4, 1944, they are arrested on denunciation. Deported to Auschwitz, then to Bergen-Belsen, Anne died of typhus in February or March 1945, shortly after her sister Margot. The girl kept her diary from June 12, 1942 to August 1, 1944, and her testimony, known throughout the world, remains one of the most moving about the daily life of a Jewish family under Nazi rule. This edition contains unpublished pages.”
