Description“Eleanor-Rigby is a journalist with National Geographic magazine, she lives in London.
One morning, on her way home, she receives an anonymous letter telling her that her mother had a criminal past.
George-Harrison is a cabinetmaker, he lives in the Eastern Townships in Quebec.
He too receives a message accusing his mother of the same facts.
Eleanor-Rigby and George-Harrison do not know each other.
The author of the letters meets them at a fishing bar on Baltimore Harbor.
What is the link that unites them?
What crime did their mothers commit?
Who is the raven and what are his intentions?

At the heart of a mystery that haunts three generations, Stanfield’s The Last brings us from occupied France in the summer of 1944, to Baltimore in the freedom of the 1980s, to London and Montreal today.”

Description : They knew their friendship was going to be complicated, but love--and the City of Lights--just might find a way. On the big screen, Mia plays a woman in love. But in real life, she's an actress in need of a break from her real-life philandering husband--the megastar who plays her romantic interest in the movies. Paul is an American author hoping to recapture the fame of his first novel. When his best friend surreptitiously sets him up with Mia through a dating website, Paul and Mia's relationship status is "complicated." Description : A mysterious object found in a dormant volcano will forever change the lives of Adrian and Keira. Together they embark on an extraordinary adventure which takes them from the banks of Lake Turkana in the heart of Africa to the mountains of China. They seek to reveal the object's hidden secrets and answer the age-old question: how did life begin? Keira is a passionate and ambitious archaeologist leading her first dig in the isolated Omo Valley in Ethiopia. When a sand storm destroys the site, she has no choice but to abandon her field work and go home: to Paris, to her sister and to the mundane city life she despises. She returns with an unusual stone, which was given to her by a local orphan boy. While visiting the museum where her sister works, a probing elderly professor takes a particular interest in Keira and above all in the talisman she wears around her neck. Adrian is an accomplished astrophysicist, who has taken a leave of absence from the illustrious Academy of Sciences in London to pursue his study of the stars in a remote observatory on the Atacama plateau in Chile. Ill-adapted to the altitude, he has to be rushed back to England before he can fully pursue his bold and unconventional research. Keira and Adrian's paths briefly cross while competing for an illustrious grant in London. Years earlier they had spent one brief, romantic summer together before going their separate ways. Keira leaves her necklace behind in Adrian's apartment, sparking his interest as a scientist and fuelling his hopes for a rekindling of old passions. With the help of a hapless administrator from the Academy, Adrian begins his own investigation of the stone's origins, but it quickly becomes apparent that he is not the only one interested in the mysterious object, and that the other party is determined to get hold of it at any cost. Adrian seeks out Keira who has returned to Africa. What innocently begins as a common pursuit of knowledge soon takes a dangerous turn when their guide is found dead. Despite heightening threats to their own safety, Keira and Adrian continue their search, which takes them across the world, from cutting edge laboratories to venerable museums, from forgotten Greek islands to monasteries hidden in the mountains. They follow maps written in the stars and clues buried within the earth, always guided by the slowly unraveling secrets of the strange object from Ethiopia. But the professor and his cohorts are always on their tracks and one step ahead... "A wonderful read" - Le Parisien "Over the years, Marc Levy has seduced millions of readers. What's his secret? He writes about quintessential themes, such as love, friendship, and the mysteries of life, in an accessible way." - Paris Match "A page-turning adventure story." - Nice Matin "The First Day" written by Marc Levy with ISBN_13 9782361320560 and ISBN_10 2361320568 with total page sheets [-354-]. Description : An extraordinary story of love and vengeance in the international art world... A fast-paced and gripping tale... An extraordinary story of love and vengeance in the international art world... A fast-paced and gripping tale... Jonathan and Anna are in the final stages of planning their Bostonian high-society wedding, when Peter, an auctioneer for Christie's and Jonathan's best friend, calls with news that will change all of their lives. He has just been informed that a small London art gallery has come in to possession of five canvases by the 19th century artist, Vladimir Radskin. Jonathan, the world's foremost expert on Radskin, immediately understands the significance of the information. If the gallery indeed has five paintings, then the collection could very well include Radskin's final canvas - a painting that has become legendary ever since it went missing in mysterious circumstances before its public unveiling in 1868. For Jonathan, who has spent the last twenty years of his career searching for this painting, its discovery and authentication would finally establish the under-appreciated Radskin as a true master. For Peter, whose recent auctions have come under fire from the critics, an ensuing high-profile sale would represent an opportunity to salvage his career. When Jonathan meets Clara, the owner of the London gallery, he is overwhelmed by a dizzying sense of déjà-vu. But in the desperate rush to authenticate the fifth painting, he simply puts this strange feeling down to their shared passion for the late Russian painter. He and Clara are both convinced that this breath-taking painting is Radskin's mythical last work, but they need proof: for The Young Girl in the Red Dress is unsigned. Their quest takes them from a gallery in Piccadilly to a paint workshop in Florence, from a laboratory in the Louvre to a mysterious manor in the English countryside. The more Jonathan and Clara uncover about Radskin's last painting, the more they discover about themselves: three very different lives, three inextricably intertwined destinies, caught in a race against time. "His writing flows, it is elegant and fast paced... In Another Life is Romeo and Juliet, set in today's modern world . It's dense, beautiful, and just as tragic.' - Paris Match "His stories make us dream, his writing fills us with emotion.' - Elle "In Another Life" written by Marc Levy with ISBN_13 9782361320454 and ISBN_10 2361320452 with total page sheets [-162-].
