For and Mrs Dursley, who lived at 4, Privet Drive, had always said with the greatest pride that they were perfectly normal, thanks for them. Never would anyone have imagined that they could be involved in anything strange or mysterious. They had no time to waste on nonsense.
Mr Dursley ran Grunnings, a company that made drills. He was a tall, massive man, with almost no neck, but a good-sized mustache. Mrs. Dursley, meanwhile, was slender and blonde and had a neck twice as long as the average, which was very useful for spying on her neighbors by looking over the garden fences. The Dursleys had a little boy named Dudley and they were the most beautiful child in the world.
The Dursleys had everything they wanted. The only undesirable thing they had was a secret they feared more than anything to be discovered one day. If anyone ever heard of the Potters, they were convinced they would not recover. Mrs. Potter was Mrs. Dursley’s sister, but both had not seen each other for years. In fact, Mrs. Dursley looked as if she were an only child, because her sister and her husband’s good-for-nothing were as far away as possible from everything that made a Dursley. The Dursleys trembled with terror at the thought of what the neighbors would say if the Potters were unfortunately shown in their street. They knew that the Potters, too, had a little boy, but they had never seen him. His existence was another reason to keep the Potters away: there was no way for little Dudley to go to a child like that.

“Joanne Rowling, known by the pseudonyms of J. K. Rowling and Robert Galbraith, is a novelist and screenwriter. She studied French literature and philology at the University of Exeter, then at the Sorbonne. She worked in London for Amnesty International before leaving for English classes in Portugal.
In 1992, J. K. Rowling married a Portuguese journalist and gave birth to a little girl, Jessica, but she was divorced from abuse in 1995 and returned to live near her sister in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Times are tough and Rowling faces financial difficulties as she finishes writing the first installment of “Harry Potter”.
She began to imagine Harry, when she was on the train to London, coming back from Manchester in the early 1990s. The train was late, having nothing else to do, and worshiping since his early childhood writing and telling stories, the idea came to him from the Harry Potter story. She did not have a pen at hand, much to her frustration, but for four hours, little by little, came the story of the now famous wizard. She kept thinking about it all the way home and once she got home, hurriedly put down all her ideas and wrote the first draft of what would be Harry Potter’s first tome of adventures: “Harry Potter at the Wizard School “and the first of a long saga, as we know.
Once his manuscript was completed, and after a few refusals, the publisher Bloomsbury made him an offer in 1996. Translated into more than 65 languages, the seven novels are sold successively, more than 400 million copies in total. The eight films adapted from his saga are also great successes in the cinema and contribute massively to the success of the novel suite.
On December 26, 2001, she married in second marriage the anesthetist Neil Michael Murray. Two children were born from this union, a son (2003) and a girl (2005).”
