“Marion Montaigne”

“Marion Montaigne is an illustrator and author of French comics. After a visit to the Sèvres workshop and the Estienne school, she studied animation at the Gobelins school. She then worked for TF1 jeunesse and became a comic bookseller, then decided to start as a freelance illustrator for youth. She started the comic strip in 2006.

In 2008, she created a science popularization blog, with a lot of humor and derision, entitled “You will die less stupid”. Published in comics, in 2011, the success is dazzling. Volume 2 is even rewarded at the Angoulême Festival 2013 with the Public Cultura Award. The series is adapted into an animated series broadcast on the Arte channel in 2016.

Since March 2010, she participated in the online soap opera “The Other People” scripted by Thomas Cadene and in the digital comics magazine Professor Cyclope, since March 2013. She received the public award / Cultura for his album “In the combi of Thomas Pesquet “, which traces the journey of the astronaut who spent nearly 200 days in the International Space Station (ISS).”
